Saturday was overall an interesting day for Dayton basketball and we’ll guide you through some of the top headlines, scores and stats from Saturday’s action.

Dunbar snaps their eight game losing streak against Trotwood that spanned over five years long. The Wolverines led by Chanze Amerson, Justin O’Neal, and Darian Leslie took care of business and put the city of Dayton on notice with their double digit win over the Rams. Antaune Allen, Antone Allen, and Randy Latham did not play on Saturday and won’t play the rest of the season due to OHSAA transfer rules.

Dasan Doucet dropped a career high 31 points for the Firebirds and Logan Adams drilled the game winning shot at the buzzer as Fairmont defeats a solid Springfield team on the road.

Tippecanoe’s perfect record comes to an end as they close out their regular season with a double digit loss to Mason. The Red Devils are still primed for a deep tournament run behind Winthrop commit and MVL player of the year Ben Knostman.

Since his return, Beavercreek star Adam Duvall has scored in double figures in his last five games. The Beavers have rattled off four straight wins and are playing their best basketball at the perfect time. Their first round matchup with Sidney should be very interesting.
